This is based on a story by Rabbi Naomi Steinberg, told to me by Maggid Yitzhak Buxbaum in Brooklyn in 2009. I was struck by its circular form and the use of a refrain, so I wrote a simple tune to it. This performance is at Temple Emanu-El in Oak Park, MI in 2010.
